Living wallpaper art by Emma Hack

Another example where the art of body painting is done in such a special way that it lands here rather than in Art's Potpourri. Australian artist Emma Hack places her nude models against luscious wallpaper background and then body paints them in the same style, resulting in spectacular results. Thanks to Jenny Downing for alerting me to this one. And although the nudity is mostly hidden by paint, I put it under the self-censorship "one click away" gimmick, just in case.

Portrait of Suzy Solidor

A 1933 Art Deco masterpiece by the queen of the genre, Tamara de Lempicka (1898-1980) from Poland. Hidden from plain sight because of the nudity, just in case (click the picture for the painting). More on de Lempicka in the wikipedia article linked to below.

The fable of the princess and the autumn leaves

This one is definitely not safe for work, but it is one of the most beautiful nude studies I have ever encountered on Flickr. Sadly, its creator Tom McFarlane, passed away in 2008 - I blogged about him before here.
